Maternity Benefit Act, 1861
Medical Termination of Pregnancy Too common yet so complicated. This women empowerment issue is garnered every year. This is extremely sad that even in the 20th century we have to talk about women right issues. Although the country is growing with each turnover of a page,
here is a stoppage. But this room needs an emergency exit.
Well, there are lots of voices that raises against the ill treatment a women goes through, Unaware of the fact that there are a list of women rights that has been approved by the law. And they are not followed up that is just another fact.
Anyways, amongst the number of women rights act, the list of women social rights includes-
The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006
Special Marriage Act, 1954
Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961
Indian Divorce Act, 1969
Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 20130
Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act, 1986
National Commission for Women Act, 1990
Equal Remuneration Act, 1976
Hence- from here, this thought gets released that there is no law that stands for women. The problem is implementation.
Women right protests take place when the masses see that there is lack of proper implementation of the laws in the country.
This is very technical actually.
The country and its people have advanced and so it is demanded that the same happens to the mind of people. But unfortunately the country lacks the perspective that the women social right should exist in the heart and mind more than in just law books.
Okay! So what causes this stressful environment-?
- Short clothes of women or short mind of masses
- Extrovert women in the crowd or coward men
- Women staying out after 7 or men roaming around with hungry eyes.
If you knew, what I mean.
We live in a society where everything suddenly becomes wrong if a girl does so. All the women right acts or women social rights fade in front of the society.
We need to work on over the society so that there is not even a single percentage of need of women’s social rights or women empowerment chaos or even those women rights protest.
How society can work on it?
- Mind one’s own business
- Let live and let everyone live by not being Judgemental
- By cultivating the habit of adaptability.
- By being soft and lovable enough to almost everyone.
Being extremely abstract with my words, here I pack my thoughts up but waiting for all my readers to open their and work upon the same, practically.
Long life, hard lessons.
